Tell us a little about yourself
My name is Rosemarie. I live in Atlanta, Georgia. I am single, have a sweet little Pomeranian and I've worked in the insurance industry for 12 years. I'm 33, and I was diagnosed with androgenetic alopecia as a teenager. I've always been a very image conscious person, and love all things makeup, fashion and hair.
How long have you been wearing wigs or hairpieces?
My hair loss has advanced to a point where I could no longer manage with extensions and I've been wearing wigs full time for about five years now. I've been wearing some sort of supplemental hair since the year 2000. I started with ponytails and in extensions, then moved on to clip in extensions and half wigs, before shaving my bio hair off and switching to wigs full time 5 years ago. Jon Renau wigs have given me a new life. I have the best hair of my life now.
What advice would you give to a new wig wearer?
Always look for features that add realism to the wig such as a monofilament part or a Lace front hairline. Don't be afraid to invest some money into your pieces. With the right care, they can last you a very long time. I mostly wear synthetics. Some of my favorite tools for synthetic pieces are Jon Renau Synthetic hair shampoo, the Jon Renau paddle brush, and a small clothing steamer to smooth out fibers.
Don't be shy about wearing your wig. Most people aren't even going to notice it's a wig.
What do you love about our brand?
I invest in Jon Renau pieces because the company makes a top-quality product. The fibers are always realistic, and the cuts, styles and color blends are always modern. I receive more compliments while wearing Jon Renau wigs than I've ever had in my life!! Thank you Jon Renau for giving me my confidence back. ❤️
