HD Hair Care

We recommend washing your wig or hairpiece every 6-8 wears.

Wash

Before washing your HD wig, gently comb through any tangles using your Jon Renau Wide Tooth Comb.

Fill sink with cool water and emulsify a capful of Jon Renau | easihair Synthetic Wig Shampoo into the wig.

Gently later the hair with shampoo, while making sure that the hair is traveling in the same direction. DO NOT rub hair as this may cause tangling.

Rinse thoroughly with cool water and gently shake out excess water.

Dry

Wrap wig in a towel and gently pat dry.

Gently derange hair using your Jon Renau wide tooth comb.

Spray Jon Renau | easihair Leave-in Conditioning Spray (3-5 pumps) throughout hair.

Apply Jon Renau HD Smooth Detangling Spray (3-5 pumps) focusing on the bottom half of the wig. Gently comb through again with your Jon Renau wide tooth comb.

Air drying your wig tends to give the best results, but you can blow dry gently using ONLY your wide tooth comb.

Tips

We recommend that ONLY a wide tooth comb is used to style and/or detangle your HD wig. Other tools will cause frizzing/tangling.

We recommend using Jon Renau | easihair HD Smooth with a wide tooth comb daily to detangle your HD wig, this is especially important with the mid-length to long length HD wigs.

HD Fiber can withstand heat tools up to 350°F, however, Jon Renau recommends 270°F - 280°F.

Air drying your wig instead of blow drying can help maintain the integrity of the fiber.

It is recommended to use professional grade heat styling tools with digital temperature settings to control heat.

Style

Curling HD Fiber:

Using your wide tooth comb, gently comb hair free of tangles.
Heat your curling iron to 270°F - 280°F.
Take a 1" - 1.5" section of hair (Smaller sections = tighter curl, larger section = looser curls.
Spray Jon Renau | easihair Heat Treat Thermal Spray on the section to protect the fiber (1-2 pumps per section).
Gather hair into curling iron, smooth through to the ends, roll up towards the base of the iron.
Hold for 10-15 seconds, turn the tip of iron toward the ground, and release curl to palm of hand.
Holding curl in one hand, gather up towards base and clip with small metal clip.
Allow curl to cool completely (about 5-10 minutes), remove clip and let curl hang naturally.
Hair can be combed (using fingers for best results) to blend curl.

Flat Iron HD Fiber:

Using your wide tooth comb, comb hair free of tangles.
Heat your flat iron to 270°F - 280°F.
Spray Jon Renau | easihair Heat Treat Thermal Spray on the section to protect the fiber (1-2 pumps per section).
Take 1" - 1.5" section, starting at least two inches away from the base, slowly smooth flat iron down towards ends.
Keep hair smooth with the wide tooth comb, following behind the flat iron.
Allow hair to hang naturally to cool.
